Crusa sat on his haunches patiently, he awaited Haruto to see him. Her bioluminescence immediately caught his eyes, it's soft pulsing was beautiful. The pregnant female sniffed him silently before taking a look at him. "Have you been feeling bad, Crusa?" She asked softly. Crusa immediately shook his head "No, just wanted to have my check up!" Crusa said with a grin. Haruto nodded gently before giving him a soft look. "Kingston has been looking for you" She spoke of her only pup fondly. Crusa's tail began to wag "Where is he?" He asked happily.
Kingston sat by a river, laying down on his stomach. Crusa bounded over to him, his tail wagging enthusiastically. The two layed side by side, enjoying the sound of the river. Kingston began to speak, "Crusa... I want to become leader." He stated firmly. Crusa's ears pinned to his Skull with surprise "W-what?" He asked softly. "I want you as my Beta, when I take over." Kingston spoke, his voice smooth. Something in his tone sent shivers down Crusa's spine.
