Daewn couldn't believe when she woke up in her new body. She was smaller, younger. More energized yet weaker. It was a hard adjustment, especially with the suspicious looks from her pack. No one had any faith in her plan, in becoming an eternal leader. Now that it was happening it made them uneasy. What if she stopped being fair? What if she stopped being good for the pack? Daewn set those concerns at ease and told her people while she had fought for the pack's home and it would always be where she belonged, she wouldn't stop anyone from leaving it.
Her victim had been a NBW, a newly-befriended wolf. A wolf isolated from her pack from the shame she had brought it. Daewn was going to have to do a lot of changes to her new body to make sure no one thought she was someone else. It would remain a pleasant mystery how she remained so young. As for her shadow self, her immortal half... Well she'd stick to the shadows. Rule like a god from above, from the other world. She had worked so hard in her mortal life, she didn't deserve an old, frayed body! While one half would be an immortal NBW that retained a majority of her consciousness and elegance (the one in the lunar realm), the other would have room for fresh memories, new changes, and would rule the pack. That way memories wouldn't get lost through the years. She would be both old and new all at once. Now just to make sure both sides of her agreed on how the pack should be ruled...

Egg's sides are adorned with fake spider legs, looking realistic enough to send a chill down your spine. Tala is dressed as a ghost, but it's more cute than scary, making you smile.
TRICK: With a snicker, you jump at them from behind, apologizing for not having any treats for the spooky monsters. Tala laughs in delight and draws nearer, playfully whispering a silent 'boo' right into your ear! In that same instant, a sudden pinch of pain shoots through your ankle. You turn to Egg, eyes wide with surprise, but she simply shrugs it off, casually explaining that you should have expected a spider to bite.
TREAT: You surprise the pair by being prepared for this scenario, and give them both treats. Egg looks disappointed. She's clearly far more into tricking others than treating them, as is evidenced by her significantly smaller bag of treats. On the other hand, Tala graciously thanks you with a warm smile, promising to spare you when the haunting hour arrives.
JOIN: When you propose the idea of going together, Tala's eyes light up and she wags her tail with excitement. On the other hand, you can practically hear Egg rolling her eyes in response. She eventually agrees, noting that at least you don't need a costume and their chances for treats could rise significantly. Tala gives her a side-eye, but it doesn't change her attitude at all. This spider costume is fitting, it seems.
The familiar silhouette of a bear appears in front of you. It's Herb with his cubs, enjoying a special night together. While he looks a bit tired, his cubs are more than eager to trick or treat with you, trying to appear scary with their costumes. However, no matter what they do, they are just incredibly cute.
TRICK: You don't have anything to offer but you still want to play with the cubs, so you pretend to be deathly afraid of them. The cubs waste no time, and their 'trick' turns out to be quite simple.
