Maelstrom | SCOUT

Diorite (Scout) used a few distracting scents to tempt Maelstrom | STR as they practiced. A successful scout needs to have a will strong enough to stay on the right track no matter what, even if they are hungry.

Maelstrom | STR brings you a gift. It's a nice gesture, but when they begin explaining that giving such things makes a good pack member, you start to wonder if it's more duty than a gesture of good will.
Maelstrom | STR looks as if they were waiting for you and says that they're ready to help if you or any pack member need anything. Their serious expression doesn't change even when they're relaxed.
During the lesson: Maelstrom | STR expertly rolled and flipped a littermate onto their back, pinning them against the ground. Lich (finisher) nodded in approval at her technique, and explained how tactical moves are the most effective.

The good manners lesson went awry today when Maelstrom | STR started inventing bizarre and funny excuses to make everyone laugh instead of learning how to apologize with respect. Dainty was serious in scolding her, but she noticed him smiling when the other pups weren't looking.

Maelstrom | STR focused on Lich (finisher) as she explained how deadly things like hooves could be if she didn't pay attention to them when taking down prey. Lich (finisher) had Maelstrom | STR practice dodging between the legs as she bit the carcass.
