Vivyann was loner most his life, wandering the vast lands, no intention of settling down anywhere that is, until he met Lukamine. Journeying together with the male and settling with the help of Tala, soon Vivyann watched his best friend get a mate and have pups. Lukamine remained oblivious to Vivyann's feelings for him, every one of his pack mates hidden from his truth.
A jealousy rose within him of course, soon a coyote somehow managed to get to his friends first born, this only inspiring him to rid the other as maybe then he would have a better chance. Speaking lies to the remaining pup, he scared it off, encouraging it best to run away. Despite the lashing out that occurred not only to the female but to himself, he held no remorse, his plan was working.
Of course, he was no stranger to the longing that Lukamine was feeling once the first pair bond was announced. Despite the many attempts at being handed the packs entirety he always managed to convince the Alpha not to step down. However, even with his efforts, he could hear the wolves stirring, clearly what was happening was bothering them on a personal level. Vivyann knew there was a protest in the making.
Soon after a scout he lay next to the Alpha upon the rock as they listened to complaints, ideas and praises before the young female finally got the chance to speak up. Vivyann prepared to be demoted down to a normal rank, understanding fully where the female was coming from, and of course why the pack was quick to support her. Generally he hoped for Lukamine to speak up for him, he could here the male begin to try calming them down, but the timid voice was unheard by the rest of the pack. Despite the Alpha's failure to speak up, his gaze swiftly bolted to the young male now standing beside him. He stared up in shock as Durian spoke in the Beta's defense, his words clearly full of admiration as the valid reasoning was spoken.
Soon after he found the two males speaking before watching the Alpha walk off, seemingly with much on his mind. The young male approaching him in their parting the action from earlier still felt unreal but he could easily tell the admiration in their private conversation. Durian spoke of it and asked to become a scout under Vivyann's mentorship, how could he refuse?
Eventually after returning from a series of missions meant to contribute to Durian's training, rather a bit on the side of avoiding his friend. Vivyann was confronted by the Alpha, of course the feelings that had begun to overwhelm him causing him to go off on his own to try pushing it away so that it wouldn't spill out and get him kicked out of the pack, it spilled anyway. Yelling his confession of love to Lukamine for it to swiftly be returned to him. Olive eyes grew wide at the acceptance and especially the return, he dropped to the ground, relieved yet shocked at once. Of course later on this resulted in their pair bonding.
