Violet Quietguide was born in the Old Lands to the Pack of Many Voices, a relatively small pack led by the Circle of Singers- including Violet's mother Singer Sorrel Palefoot, Thirdvoice of the Circle. Young and ambitious, Violet aspired to be voted into the Circle since her training days, but her dreams and pack were destroyed in the Cataclysm.
Originally named Violet Petal for her patterned pelt, she was given a Testament Name when Brightspirit was formally founded, named Quietguide for her temperament and guidance on the journey to Wolf's Den. An observant, ambitious, and passionate wolf, Violet firmly believed that if the pack was to survive in the new lands, they needed both information and allies. To this end she spent much of the Spring of Year 1 exploring, seeking new wolves to connect with and contact.
On one of her forays just beyond territory lines, she met a sunborn wolf resting in a dappled field while honeybees drifted through the pollen-bright air. Lyte'mor came from a prosperous pack to the [direction], and Violet eagerly questioned the warm-furred scout on, well, everything. Their personalities meshed quite well, and she found Lyte'mor to be rather handsome and charming, and a few playful dalliances later...
Soon after, Violet proposed a formal pack alliance between Brightspirit and Fenrir packs. Several wolves- namely Yellow Fang and Soot Soulglare- criticized both her and the proposal, more focused on her swelling belly than any possible political benefits, but Violet persisted, arguing for a meeting between packs. The meeting was far beyond what Violet had privately hoped it would be, and the wolves of Brightspirit and the blood of Fenrir formally allied together in that same season.
And in the early dawn a few days later, the full moon still hanging in the sky above, Violet Quietguide had two healthy pups, the first wolves to be born into Brightspirit- and the first to be born after the Cataclysm. With Fenrir blood in their veins, the two pups symbolized the alliance she had worked hard to bring about. Part of that alliance included an exchanging of pups, something that tore Violet's heart even as she understood its value, but it meant that Lyte'mor visited often as they decided which pup would stay with her and which would leave with him.
Violet watched Quiet Moor leave with his father with a proud but aching heart, pleased with how much she had accomplished in only a few moons. Nowadays she acts as a guiding force in the rearing of the pack's many pups, her observant nature and attention to detail a great boon in managing their needs and organizing their training. She has now set her mind to organizing the pack's internal structure, seeking a way to combine the pack's many disparate beliefs, experiences, and roles into one cohesive pack.
