Flint

The son of Brook and Pine. He and his twin sister, Opal, were the first of Rime's wolves to be born in the tundra.

He and Opal used to do everything together, and would often get into mischief. Flint was the adventurous one between the two, encouraging him and his sister to go wander about the territory. Because he and Opal are so alike, they liked to confuse their packmates over which one is who.

Lately, things have become more complicated for Flint. When they were apprentices, he and his sister got into some mischief during a hunt with their parents, which had resulted in the Flakes losing their prey and getting injured. It was determined that the incident was Flint's fault. At Polar's decree, it was decided that Flint would train with the Shards instead. Unfortunately for Flint, this not only meant being separated from his sister, but also having to put up with his resentful uncle Bark.

Dealing with Bark and the Shards had made Flint hardened and rebellious. He's become somewhat of a jerk in the pack, being rude towards others and cracking obnoxious and crude jokes. It's gotten so bad that it's driven a wedge between himself and his sister.
