Woodpecker would join Rime after meeting Polar on a visit to the prairie. Although she was put off by incredibly snarky and no-it-all attitude, he willfully agreed to help her pack with scouting while North and Char were gone. If only he'd learn to keep his mouth shut about everything.
Lately, Woodpecker can be observed flirting around with Hoar. Oddly enough, it seems like he's the only wolf who can get through to her.
Although once he would finally tie the knot with her and she would give birth to his pup, Woodpecker didn't seem all too thrilled about being a father, to the point where he would avoid Hoar and skip the nursing den.
