"A Wolf Stands Glaring Before You, Hollow As The Wastelands Itself."
He picks them up with his teeth. His gentleness confuses you, until you notice him walking towards a brown wolf larger than both of you are. The wolf, limp on the ground like a rotting corpse, moves his eyes towards you and gives you an apologetic grin. He heaves his sickly body up and licks his partner's ears as the cookies are laid down for him.
Something lands in front of you.

You lunge. It is not him who takes the fall. A brown wolf, limp and sickly, stands between you and him. His partner, you guess. He has a large body, muscular if he was not near death's door. An easy opponent. With claws bloodied, you slash at his flesh and revel in the spurt of crimson that splashes onto your canines.
Red suits savage beasts who are too pathetic to care for the innocent.
A sharp sting sprouts from your neck. And it hurts like the burning of a raw heart. You leap away, encased in your fear of failure. Perhaps this is karma—something you believe is not deserved. You take a look at your opponent and can't help but cackle. Of course you were swiftly countered; that frail wolf, too enamoured with his weak lover, was already dead from the start.
Red drips from your neck to your paws. No longer are your claws stained in the agony of others, but instead, yourself. You run off, and the puddles that splash in your sprint mock you for your idiocy.
