So I recently discovered the feature of traveling wolves, and I have some questions about how they work.

- How do you send traveling wolves to new hosts?
- How do you get your traveling wolf back?
- what can the host change about a traveling wolf? (ex, colors, bases, name, bio, etc)
- is there a limit to how long you can keep a traveling wolf? Or is it up to the person that owns it?

I can answer a few..

- you can send them to new hosts through gifts (they must also have travelling wolves on)
- you can recall them through their page
(You can check on them by clicking on the "welcome back, (username)" part and clicking "traveling wolves)
- i dont know about the third question, sorry.
- its either the host or the owner of the wolf who decides!!
If its a host: they just can keep or give them whenever they want (unless the wolfs bio says theres a time limit!)
If its the owner: they can put the time limit in their bio.

you can send travelling wolves in a gift! travelling wolves can be listed in the giveaways chat box for the most efficient transfer. 

your travelling wolf can be recalled at any moment. Just click on your username in the top left and there is a tab titled "travelling wolves", you can then click on the wolf and then click the recall traveller button on their profile.

Hosts can technically change any details of the travelling wolf they are hosting, as if it is their own (base, markings, decor, pair bond, etc) however restrictions on this are usually listed in the wolf's bio, and if the host hasn't clearly said you can make a change like this, it is best to message and ask them first!

How long you keep a travelling wolf is up to the person that owns it! Some have time preferences and others don't.

You have to enable it in your profile, then you can make your wolf a traveling wolf by turning it on in their individual settings. There's a page where you can see all of your traveling wolves at the top of the page, by your user.
