THIS IS SO COOL WAITTTT, I really love the new personality interactions! It looks a bit confusing, but I bet it's really cool! Also, new lethal??!?!?!??!?

@mALEc: I like those ideas. The lethal mutations (and particularly the demand people have for them) have always rubbed me wrong. The addition of the blind pups/wolves who can't do anything also has rubbed me wrong.

I get that this is fiction and all for fun and so on with the usual platitudes people bring up in sim games, but IRL, blind people and animals — I bring up people since our wolves are clearly anthropomorphized — can do plenty, so making the blind wolves unable to do anything in the game feels wrong.

Hmmmm.... I'm not loving these stat penalties.  The boosts are nice, but I feel like a simple +3 and +2 to two of the stats, with a +1 to all for neutral would be better.  As is stands neutral personality technically gets a total +10 to their overall stats, whereas everything else get only a total +7. (if you used my proposed stat distribution I mentioned there, each wolf only gets +5 total which is much more reasonable)

You say it isn't much change, but there's several "tipping points" for things like scouting, or hunting, where by hitting certain values you can scout areas or have better hunt rate success.  For people who stat breed or try and get a hunt team/scout to certain values this can affect things.

+7 points is almost an entire level's worth of stat points for most of the lower levels, and then it's almost half a level for higher ones.  My higher level wolves gain +12 or so in two stats when they level.  And from what I'm seeing so far the personality spread for where certain stats fall for various hunting roles isn't very even.  For people who try to min-max their hunt teams this might be more of a hindrance than anything.

To some of us, myself included, I think the lethals isn't about making "horrible health conditions popular" it's just about real life. In real life those things happen. Tragic or not, real life happens. I personally find it super interesting and cool to see and be able to have those kinds of things in a game.

The game does an excellent job of showing the tragic side of things seeing as those pups will still die in a matter of days (unless you have the space and money to make them immortal). This game in no means makes me want one in real life. That being said, this is just a game and you don't have to take things so to heart. It's ok to not be ok with them, just don't partake in that aspect of the game.

I don't feel like they try to glorify any mutations. I think they do an excellent job of showing how deadly they are. I'm excited about the new mutation and find it awesome that I can see another aspect of realism in the game.

@stained I agree with you; it is an aspect of realism; they're also super rare to achieve, I think it is essential the representation of mutations is shown; unfortunately for wolves, the harsh reality is it does become lethal or comes with setbacks. I play this game for an aspect of realism, from hunting to breeding to interactions.

I wouldn't mind if my blind wolves could be healers, for example, but I also understand why they may not be.

I don't think the game nor people glorify it either, everyone has their different interests and goals!

Anyways I am super excited and love the changes I have been away for quite a few years so this is super cool to come back too!

Cool feature with obviously a lot of thought and effort put into it. But not one I see myself really utilizing at first glance and a couple experimental group socialization. I'm not keen on the wolves losing mood. It's a feat in itself to keep a large pack with full territory slots happy and fed. I'll pass on anything that is going to make that harder.

@Carrie I completely agree, I like having lots of wolves but it's already hard enough trying to keep up with making sure their moods are up to par, I do not need more obstacles.
