You can also look through other people's art shops and see what they offer and what their prices are, however, I wouldn't use this as a strict guide. Everyone has very different art styles, all of which are highly subjective; "one person's trash is another's treasure" and all. Plus it in takes different people different amounts of time and energy to complete art work. I know this probably isn't the kind of answer you are looking for but I hope it gives you some kind of guidance. I'd suggest finding that range of prices you are comfortable with and then pitching that to your audience to see how they react. Ask your clients for feedback, what your work is worth to them, and ask yourself those questions too! Was the artwork you did worth what they paid? Do you deserve more (or less likely because artists are so often underpaid: do your clients deserve more for what they are paying/should they be charged less?) tldr; trust your gut Best of luck and I hope this gives you some guidance~ |
