thats an interesting idea! though i don't know if nbws are generated/loaded before entering the befriending screen, so i don't think that'd be effective |

I was wondering if instead defusing mechanics being similar to battle it would be similar to befriending > it would start all red and your actions make it better or worse (personality affecting) and if you succeed it begins the befriending phase, if not then it starts the fight? Idk if this would be too complicated :"D |

You'd try to calm them down to defuse the situation, if you succeed it starts the befriending process, if you fail it starts automatic fight |

ooh i see i honestly think that it might make things too complicated? i wouldn't want for people to have to do that whole "befriending" process twice. it'd have to just stick to a randomized chance to get to defuse either before or after a battle with a wolf i think if you had to defuse in the same way you do befriending, and then still had to do the befriending process, it would get repetitive |
