Allow All Males to Breed within the Pack

Mega support!! I'd love this, the game feels a bit too much like lioden in that matter, and it's much more realistic to have multiple males breed.

Support!
Almost every male I have aquired I have sex changed...The only ones staying male are a NBW I am rather fond of, a poorly puppy I bought because I felt bad for him (Lol) and my future stud.
The NBW I am consdering turning female just before he dies for his stats and replacement (Want his kid as it for lore reasons), Poorly puppy is just canon male and I wouldn't want to change that for breeding (and his only 'worth' is sentiment) and well my future stud will stud everyone.
So of almost 20 wolves I have 1 perma male, 1 I may sex change and my stud so 15-17 females. Males have little worth to me and I even changed some wolves I would have loved to keep male to females because why would I keep them otherwise?

Females can do everything the same, the energy regen is no issue and I only really noticed by how much now my scouting team is 1 male 1 female and still it's for what 4 days? no bother really...

I would be personally happy with a scout/hunter like role with a wolf limit but for males that allowed breeding them, after breeding they got a cooldown but I don't plan to have more than 30-35 wolves total so?? and would happily have 5-10 of that number be males for projects different results + would still stud out to other players males for certain females pup possibilities since you can't have everything you want in house and keep mostly clean lines and I would still stud my own stud aswell.

The studding is already broken anyway? most players are offering partial to full refunds on a 100-200SC stud and others are selling theirs for upwards of 3000Sc and who can afford that lol?
T2 5-10m puppies are being sold for as low as 50Sc and likely wont sell at all...

and for full record I quit lioden because I could only afford/aquire basic lions and couldn't afford studding out or buying Gb so was literally stuck with nothing at all and no way to change that.

I only just joined to this game, but I actually really like the breeding mechanic the way it is. I see where everyone is coming from- of course you want to be able to more easily breed dream doggos! But coming from other petsites, where breeding is easier and has fewer restrictions and any mated pair can breed whenever, it just is a fast track to making breeding pointless. It oversaturates the game with babies nobody will buy and can't keep and would make it very difficult to keep track of all the legacies going on- which is the point of this game. Making legacies, playing the long game. It seems like there is already an overabundance of puppies nobody will buy and letting all males breed would just exacerbate that problem tenfold.

Possibly some of the suggestions to heavily restrict non-stud males would be fine! But a free-for-all sounds like not a good plan to me.

On the contrary, free breeding or cooldown breeding will encourage people to keep males.  More males means fewer females, fewer females means fewer puppies.  And overabundance of puppies is a completely unsound argument.

Support! I would really love to be able to breed some of my other males. (Sorry I don't have much to say, I just really love the idea)

@Einir

Except people have already explained that with less females in a pack there will be less puppies per user. Males are at this point genetically useless so they are either sex changed or chased leaving packs of majority females that are breed every heat. In a pack of 20 wolves (excluding breeding male) the system now encourages 20 litters of puppies a month with an average of 3-4 puppies per wolf. If males were breedable then that pack of 20 wolves could be evenly split 10 males 10 females and that already cuts litters per month by half with only 10 litters a month being created.

@Einir,

All of the points that you mentioned have already been addressed.

" of course you want to be able to more easily breed dream doggos! "

No, many of us want to pair our wolves for lore purposes, it has nothing to do with breeding. Many more want other males to breed so that they have reasons to keep them in the pack, as well as passing on their beautiful markings and stats, both of which are lost under the current system.

"It oversaturates the game with babies nobody will buy and can't keep"

No, this will make there be less babies/puppies because there will be less females to breed and thus less litters over all.

"
 and would make it very difficult to keep track of all the legacies going on- which is the point of this game"

It is nearly impossible to keep track of legacies now due to all the pups being related to a single male, or traceable back to a popular stud.

"
It seems like there is already an overabundance of puppies nobody will buy and letting all males breed would just exacerbate that problem tenfold."

No, the overabundance of unbought puppies is largely due to packs being all female because the males cannot pass on stats or markings. Many unbought puppies are male for the same reason.

Hope this clears things up for you.

@Einir: This is why I like the idea of mated pairs as opposed to free breeding, it's a good medium while also being the most realistic.
