Illness adjustment - more dynamic

Total support! This would make much more sense overall, and could help players strategize how they go into each new biome/season.

Oh, I really love the idea of dynamic illnesses and biome specific illnesses. Big support.

I saw a friend of mine struggle with some illnesses before I started playing and feared to struggle myself and was kinda suprised how easy I had it. I stocked up every Cure available to be prepared and now they are staying in my hoard waiting to be used.

Love the idea off one illness developing into another. Would force the players to cure them fast.

Full support! It would allow for a little bit strategy on when and where to explore and/or  move biomes.

Just another idea. Maybe make illnesses more contagious. Such as pups/pupsitters can pass between each other regardless of Cave. Hunting parties would also have the ability to pass between each other. They spend time working together so it only makes sense they would be in contact with eachother and passing illnesses

I support the suggestion but I have to say I don't like the poison idea one bit.

Poison should be gained by eating something bad, maybe licking or chewing something, it's something you ingest. Maybe new encounters could be made for that, where you drink water and either get energy or get poisoned? Or just randomly from eating meat, there could be a low chance of that happening.

What snakes have is venom and the two aren't the same nor do they affect the body the same way.

Oh, I know the difference and I believe I even brought that up during beta - though nothing was done for it. I raise snakes (One of which is technically venomous) so I know all about that.
However the illness is still poisoned and functions as one. You can get poisoned in battle by enemies as well as get poisoned by licking a frog.

Ah, I'm not calling anyone here ignorant, I'm sorry if it comes off that way. What I mean is that if we're already changing how illness works, then either renaming this one or adding venom would be a good way to go about this.

Poison is something I think has it's place, though I think it should be gained through the consumption of poor food or water. Possibly even from toys, but very rarely (since many are bones and such).

Venom is it's separate thing and it makes sense in my head to make that something you get from battle alone.

I think it would be interesting if sick wolves with contagious illnesses remained contagious for a rollover or two AFTER treatment.  That's generally how it works in real life, after all.

Support. I've honestly started selling all my cures because there's almost no reason to keep a storage of them, with how rare illnesses are as of now.
