Posted 2024-02-16 12:28:34 #1156488 This problem really stems from how the decor work in the first place. We can get most/all of them in a single event and they're 20 uses. We can't feasibly use them up before the next event, so we're all going to have an excess of them. Especially if the NPCs stay 'playersexual.' So we're drowning in these decor that can last 20 generations each and don't get a single jellyfish anymore to use them. No one in their right mind would buy a jellyfish per decor, and the jellyfish are only 10 uses, so it would need 8 GC to use each decor. That's over 240 GC to use up the decor from this event alone. I love challenge, and that's not what this is. Not even close. I feel like we should get 3 decor max and pick them out, and they have a few uses. Then get a 1-2 use jellyfish per decor. But no matter what's done, it's a messy situation either way and nobody's really gonna be happy at this point.

Posted 2024-02-16 13:21:21 (edited) #1156540 I knew it coming in since I read last year's posts, and I have enough GC for it (especially since I'm only getting one decor for RP reasons), but I'm seconding the opinion that it's not particularly fair to give out an item that cannot be used as intended without buying a completely separate item - especially when the only way to get that item is via the Premium Currency shop. It feels less like a gift for accomplishing something and more like an advertisement for GC that taunts you from your hoard if you can't afford it.

The market is unpredictable, but it is not just luck based. If anyone wants my strategy feel free to PM me and I'll share how I made the GC. I feel bad for the staff getting complained at and thought another perspective might help. I have been on sites where staff incompetence is frustrating, but these guys show they care about us I do agree they should have let us know how the decor works in the newest update. I remembered them saying the jellyfish were a 1 year only thing last year. There should have been a reminder.
