Nightwing heard a soft voice coming from the nursery and decided to check it out. When he walked inside, he saw Frostwhisker telling a story about the three great clans. Waiting patiently, when Frostwhisker finished talking about Tigerclan, Nightwing started about the tales of Lionclan. It's said that they were huge cats, with golden fur and a long mane that wrapped around their neck. They were known for they loyalty, and their distinct sense of knowing right from wrong... Many, many moons later, the legendary Firestar made an alliance with windclan and Lionclan was reborn, for awhile... |

With her kits mewling in pleasure, probably more so from nursing than the story telling the curled up once more against her belly. "Thank you Nightwing for the story about Lionclan, I really appreciate your kindness towards them." Frostwhisker Trills at him. Kneading the bedding underneath her, knowing her kits were asleep, it would probably be best for her to get some rest to. |

After Frostwhisker thanked him, Nightwing dipped his head and headed out of the nursery. Thunderclan is lucky to have such attentive little warriors! After rambling about stories of the great Lionclan in the dark nursery, the bright sunhigh rays shocked him. He shook his head and went to Lightningstrike to see if anything needed to be done. "Ah, I see the fresh-kill pile is already well stocked, thanks to you but we have yet to patrol the Riverclan border, go and organize a group of warriors to go with you. Wait, I forgot, we are a bit short on warriors at this time, thank goodness for Frostwhisker's kits... Well, go on your own, but don't pick any fights, alright?" Nightwing simply nodded and headed out to patrol the Riverclan border. Walking along and renewing scent marks, Nightwing heard a screech from up ahead. Nightwing ran towards the noise and saw a young Riverclan apprentice sliding into the river. |

Nightwing paced in circles, deciding what to do. Crossing the border would be against the warrior code, but leaving the young apprentice to die would be cruel. Then he spotted another Thunderclan warrior panicking and decided to wait. If things got dire, he would rush in, but he wouldn't cross the border without reason. |

PatchstarI hope everyone is having a good time in ThunderClan, but I have an announcement to make. We have a new Apprentice in our Clan by the name of Pigeonpaw. Someone needs to mentor him. If you wish to be his mentor, PM me. The cats in the position to mentor Pigeonpaw are Lightningstrike, Nightwing and Jaybark. If neither of you three volunteer, I will be his mentor. |
