Nightwing was about to open his mouth to call for Pigeonpaw when he felt a pebble on his back. Hissing, he sniffed the rock to identify who threw it at him That little rascal's gonna pa- Nightwing suddenly realized the scent was Fiercehawks! He picked up the scent trail, and hid the rock before approaching Fiercehawk "What in the name of Starclan are you doing!" he hissed, "If you got caught, I wouldn't be able to bare it!" |

Pigeonpaw raised his head as Nightwing called his name, hope blooming in his chest. Maybe Nightwing had changed his mind! Pigeonpaw dillydallied for a minute, worried about his mentor's reaction, then trotted out into the clearing...only to find that his mentor had disappeared. "Night- Nightwing?" Pigeonpaw called. |

Nightwing heard his apprentice's voice. "You stay here okay? I have to make up with my apprentice... we got in a fight, and he matters to me just as much as you do, my love." Nightwing got up and quickly caught a mouse. Holding it, he trotted back into camp to see Pigeonpaw looking for him. "Finally, sleepyhead! You woke up! I had enough time to go hunting all the way at the Windclan border. Now, I'm thinking we're doing a hunting assessment, we do need to speed up your training, after all." |

I was mouse-brained to think you wouldn't..." Nightwing said, "Also, I doubt any other mentor had to save their apprentice from falling out of a tree!" he said, his whiskers twitching. "Now, about that assessment, I'll give you until Sun-high to collect as much prey as you can. I will be watching, you just won't be able to detect me, and don't try to, focus on huntning." |
