"The bird made me do it!" I protested but couldn't help chuckling at her joke. "Hi nightwing!" I called, stepping out of the den and spotting my black mentor cheering loudly among our clan. "Pigeonfeather! Pigeonfeather!" I couldn't help yowling, giving a small hop of joy only for my forelegs to buckle and my chin to slam into the hard ground. "Ouch." |

"Definetly better than yesterday," I meowed. "I can't really walk on my own yet, but cherrypaws helping me around! We were just talking about how ironic feather is similar to wing. Do you think pigeonfeather asked for that name, patchstar chose it at random, or patchstar chose it to show how good of an impact you had on pigeonfeather?" |

Cherrypaw, can you help me back to the den? I promised that sparrow I'd use his feathers to line my nest and I have a mission to finish!" |

Pigeonfeather blinked slowly as the cats in the clearing began to disperse. Now it was time for his vigil...Pigeonfeather sat in the clearing, waiting as the moonlight rose and bathed in fur in silver. He would stay awake, to prove he was enough for his Clan. |
