I need two for a quest but I can't find any, and all the ones in the trading center are combined with other food and super expensive prices

Hullo! I find agouti carcasses by hunting in the rainforest. They come from critter trails or failed hunts where my team caught something on the way back ^-^. Not sure if they are found anywhere else but rainforest I can confirm.

Sometimes if you interact with your pack by visiting each pack members page, one will give you an agouti carcass. :) You can also buy critter bundles, sometimes an agouti is inside. But that's expensive and no guarantee.

You can also ask in the sale chat box. Sometimes someone will trade another type of carcass with you.

Also during the Cataclysm in August (which is now yay!) There's an encounter which could give you an Agouti. It's this one: " You smell the hot, stinky air before you even see the geyser. You've seen geysers before, and this one seems wrong. The water coming out of it is a funny color, and the misty air around it is suffocating. Your lungs burn and your eyes run; the air feels toxic."

Choose the Run Away option and you might find an Agouti carcass. This encounter is in Mountains, Taiga, Tundra, Glacier.

There's also a regular encounter that might drop an Agouti. The Raven, found in all biomes, which says " A raven swoops down over your head and seems to be trying to get your attention." He can drop amusement items, herbs, or a small carcass.

I think your best option is to find the encounter in each biome that gives you a quest item. In most biomes it's the snake. When you see the snake, choose the "What's this?" option and it might give you a quest item, which for you would be an Agouti.
