After a second Kaiyora's ears lifted and she opened her eyes, studying the wound for a second before it started to close on its own. "No need." She was using a bit too much magic but she was just kind of praying it didn't backfire.

"She's fine. Edwin is with her."

Edwin frowned. "You might use up your magic." He said, worried.

Raine nodded, still not quite trusting the mage. "Ok.. What can I do? Keep looking at the radar thing?"

She shook her head. "I'll be fine."

Rover nodded. "Yeah. Make sure nothing else hits us. Otherwise we might actually have a problem."

"No you won't, you are letting your pride get in the way of the safety of all of us and the ship." Edwin said with a small glare.

Raine nodded, making sure to keep a very good eye on the radar, scared for them and the ship.

"You don't know what you're talking about," She hissed at him.

Rover glanced at Raine briefly. "It'll be okay, kid. The Captain's strong. If anything, she's one of the most unlikely beings to let her crew be endangered." Little did Rover know how Kaiyora's magic affected the fox, making the woman more unreasonable instead of physically draining her. Fox magic wasn't something that was taught on the ship.

Edwin glared at her. "Yes, you do."

"I hope that's true.." Raine whimpered quietly as they watched the radar, not ready for this all to happen so soon.

Kaiyora chose to stay quiet, glaring at him.

"Kid," Rover turned to Raine. "I know you were taught not to trust magic users, so I hope you can at least trust me when I say that this ship's captain won't let anybody get hurt. I've known her for over 40 years and not once has she let her crew down, even if it's almost killed her multiple times."

Edwin raised one of his eyebrows. "Your magic is getting weaker, I can physically see it." He said.

Raine gave a couple nods. "Ok.. I.. I believe you." They said.

"You aren't exactly helping," she muttered.

Rover nodded. "As for Edwin, I'm not sure about him yet. The captain trusts him for the most part so I think he'll do fine." She turned back to the console.

"I'm actively trying to and you aren't letting me. So don't start with that." He said, rolling his eyes and sighing. "You know what? If you want to let your pride get in the way of the lives on this ship and kill any chance that our people have for survival anywhere. You can go ahead." Edwin starts to walk out.

Raine looked at the Radar, upon seeing nothing they relaxed a bit. "We'll be ok, we will."
