Kaiyora was in her room, the door slightly ajar. She had chosen to lean against the wall while sitting on her bed, her eyes shut. Her ears were twitching rapidly, her tail flicking as though she were distressed. Her expression though was calm.

Rover indicated a small panel on the console. "Keep an eye on that. If anything turns red, tell me where. It's a radar, and anything red is something that could hit the ship if I'm not careful."

Edwin knocked gently on the door, barely tapping it but knowing her sensitive ears would hear it.

Raine nodded and watched the radar, wanting to help in any way they could.

"Come in," She spoke quietly, her voice shaking with what could only be guessed at. She was exhausted, the shield being hit with more debris than the radar would actually pick up- too small for the radar.

The radar suddenly detected a rather large object, moving at speeds that definitely wasn't space debris.

Edwin walked in. "Do you need any help?" He asked in a worried tone.

Raine looked startled. "There's a big object coming here!"

"I'll manage," she did but she wasn't about to admit it.

"How big, what direction?" Rover sounded way too calm.

"Are you sure? I can throw up a shield behind yours in case it breaks?" Edwin offered, worried for the captain and the ship.

Like huge! And it's coming from the left, its close! Raine said, eyes wide.

"It won't break," she hissed. It probably would. The Captain's magic was powerful but not enough considering she didn't know about the massive object incoming.

Rover sighed and flicked a few levers, the ship turning to maybe do a little better at not getting hit.

Edwin looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Ok, but I will help if I feel it breaking, not for your sake but for everyone on this ship."

Raine looked worriedly at the radar, hoping that the thing would go away.

"I don't need your help," she responded. She knew she did but her pride was in her way, as would probably be usual.

Rover flinched as the thing scraped past the ship. She heard Kaiyora scream as if the Captain had been burned. Damage so serious to the shield, though it wouldn't break it, had hurt her.

A long gash formed on Kaiyora's arm. She screamed despite herself, her ears pinning flat back.

Edwin went over to get a med kit, easily finding it and bringing it back. "Let me see the wound please." He said, voice rather serious.

Raine heard the scream and was worried. "What happened? Is she ok?"
