I'm very new to the game, and came from Lioden so while some mechanics are familiar to me, others are leaving me confused. Most importantly, though, i have noticed that a lot of features are locked— i have completed all of the important snake quests available to me, so how do i unlock the rest? My guess is waiting a few rollovers but still want to check bc i'm very impatient lol 		Lum1nyxie

yeah, to unlock all the game mechanics you have to roll-over 30 times. It scared my too...
"Why is this thing shaded out??? Did I do something wrong???"
*franticly looks at quests*
"I did everything though!!"
I just ended up enjoying the mechanics that are open and waited for the rest to become available.

yep, several times new quests will pop up as you reach new milestones. give birth to your first pups, Tala tells you to get a pupsitter. when they wean, she teaches you about training lessons. when they're adolescents they apprentice, etc. it's all about going through the motions.
I think after like 2 weeks you'll hear from her hardly ever, until your 30th rollover, where, as the person above me mentioned, pairbonding is unlocked

In all, there are ten Tala quests that introduce you to the game mechanics.
