In Corrupted Kora path, you either have to help Kora against the witches then help the witches in the end or you have to help the witches then side with Kora in the end. It means that you have to betray the side you were aligned to even though there was no incentive to change the side, not even a moral one. If you've been siding Kora, you gotta watch how Kora and Namir try fighting the witches, outnumbered and weakened as Kora was no longer corrupted. You're given a choice to help Kora and Namir because without you they'd most likely get killed and they rely on you. But you side with the witches against outnumbered Kora and Namir and the only reason given to you is that you were promised power by the witches. If you've been siding with the witches while being a good wolf, you most likely believed Saligia's good intentions, that "corrupting" creatures is the way to heal them. You didn't trust Kora and she's supposed to be even less genuine when during the ritual she assaults Saligia. You expect that Saligia needs your help as Kora doesn't listen to reason. There was no indication why you'd be siding with Kora, you'd just appear disloyal towards the witches. But the option is there and you just go with it. I think that both above scenarios look more evil than simply siding with Saligia because Saligia at least tries to convince you why her deeds are good but there was no moral reason to change the side in the end. |
