this pack was founded By a She-wolf Named Flicka who was born on the year of the lunar moon her pack rejoiced at the news of a lunar pup who will carry the bloodline of the pack but when she got older her parents had died and the weight of leading her parents pack sent a wave of emotion through her and she ran away creating a pack of her own she met up with other runaway wolves who viewed her as a strong and noble leader and she created the pack known as the Golden ridge warriors she had made a promise to her pack that she will remain the leader they want her to be till she joins the spirits leaving her role to a new wolf that new wolf was Oshus

Story of Flicka (Told By Shazam Turmeric Rose)

I am Shazam Turmeric Rose and i am an elder of the Goldridge warriors telling stories to the young wolves of the pack It hasn't been long since i lost my dear friend Flicka to old age and my time was coming soon...What's that you want to know the story of Flicka. well I guess its about time i tell you the story before i myself join the pack in the stars. It all started years ago. The Alpha of The Lunar pack was pacing back and forth as he awaited the news of his mate to return from a scouting mission. When she did Return Tiga the alpha male walked over to her. " Snowfall you shouldn't push yourself so much, think of our unborn pups." The Alpha Female could only chuckle and she gave Tiga a Boop on his nose with her tail. " You worry to much Tiga besides we have a few more days till the pups are born...They may even be born on the year of the lunar moon....that's in six days from now so you can relax." Tiga rolled his eyes at his mate. " Snowfall you should be in your nest not out and about." Snowfall sighed. " Tiga I thought you were supposed to be the wisest and most handsome wolf of the pack and yet here you are worrying about me...your mate." Tiga sighed. " Yes I worry about you Snowfall and I worry that if you go into labor in a middle of a scouting mission the pups will die...you need to be in your nest." Snowfall sighed. " I don't even know why i chose you as my mate I fell in love with you because you were handsome and you were my childhood friend." Tiga sighed. " Just go to your nest and rest please." Snowfall nodded and she headed to her nest. but the year of the lunar moon arrived much sooner then expected and Snowfall went into labor. I was there in the den with my mother watching the labor take place as my mother kept me away...but i knew this labor was something special and that the alpha female was going to have one pup not a litter like she was hoping for. when the pup arrived Snowfall Licked her pup and she called her mate Tiga over. " TIGA!" the alpha male ran to his mate in panic. " Snowfall what's wrong!" Snowfall chuckled. "Tiga calm down nothing is wrong." Before Tiga could question his mate a little whimper caught his attention and he looked down to see a single small pup black and white nursing off of Snowfall. " Tiga, Say hello to our daughter Flicka." Tiga sniffed Flicka and when his nose touched the pup's fur blue dust scattered around the den. " Snowfall...we shall rejoice in this moment for our daughter Flicka was born from the lunar moon and was gifted to us directly from the lunar dreamlands." And as the days turned into years Flicka and I grew into fine wolves but Flicka grew further apart from her parents and her birth Pack because her mother and father were growing old and needing Flicka to take their place but she refused and she ran away from her birth pack and I as her best friend couldn't leave her alone so I followed her and she told me her plans. " Shazam we should find wolves who have no pack or family to join us the Goldridge warriors." I had to agree her starting a new pack was her best idea and so we found wolves all over the place and they joined us and well the rest of the story is history. Now that you know the story I can now be put to rest and join my friend Flicka in the pack in the stars I believe in you Oshus that you will lead the pack just as well as Flicka....Until we meet again Oshus.
