Pumpkinpaw had a dream... the world around him was getting colder and colder... he was falling... the stench of death wrapped around him tighter and tighter... then it was all gone. All gone besides the familiar scent of death, mingled with the kits. No. no, no, no, no... His nest was cold, all the other apprentices had left. He walked outside, very much awake. There, he saw the limp, lifeless nodies of the three kits hanging from Wildstar's and Springleaf's mouths. Wait, Springleaf?! Don't they always fight...? Shrugging, he hurried towards hi mentor. "Er... what happened?" he asked quietly, trying not to upset Wildstar. |

Pausing at the camp entrance, I glanced down at my apprenrice. "I'll discuss this with you later. For now, eat and do some socializing," I meowed, voice muffled by the kits fur. Turning away, I padded out of the tunnel and into the forest, waiting for Wildstar to lead the way. |

She padded through the forest until they reached a spot right next to their mothers grave. "Here will be good." She murmured. and set the kit down and started digging. Each lump of dirt she dug out filled her heart with even more pain. |

Dusk found a quiet stream. She sat near the edge, trying to process what Rabbitfoot told her. Why didn't I do or say anything? Dusk answered herself. I didn't know what to do or say. |

Nodding, he left Springnose to do his own thing. He looked around, and saw Duststep and Rabbitfoot doing their thing... better not interrupt. He saw Deathfeather looking a little worried about Wildstar, probably wondering how to get her to cope with her grief. He was especially fond of the medicine cat, because from a young age, he had healed the auburn tom-cat from a thorn in the nest, leaving a slight scar on his lip. Walking up to the medicine cat, he said, "Hello there, Deathfeather! I bet new-leaf is a great relief for you." (I feel like Pumpkinpaw would be the type of cat to help forage as he has good eyesight+likes to be outside) |

twilightpaw looked away as volcanicpaw tried to mew a greeting, and before she could say anything else,he whisked his tail and padded over to the freshkill pile. Furledwing Furledwing paused in eating her prey. She saw twilightpaw and volcanicpaw both together. Its perfect time to go do some training she thought. I should finish this later she said, standing up and hiding her prey under a patch of moss Padding towards the apprentices, she signaled with her tail to follow her. She wished to get the apprentices' minds off of the dead kits, which happened so suddenly, although they didnt look all that affected |
