Quieting to a snicker, I paw at the ground around him, noticing how it was almost frozen solid so I decided against digging him out. "Let's see," I murmured. Placing a paw on each side of his flank, I tugged, feeling him him slightly. With a jerk, I pulled him out of the hole, sending myself staggering back from the force and flopping onto my back with a yelp of surprise.
