Picking my way carefully through the field of rocks, wind buffering me on every side and nearly knocking me off my paws. Silverpaw Tearing into my nest, anger surging through me at the thought of my father. He apologized. And now i havent seen hin in days! Some father he is! I have half a mind to rip his ears off! Clenching my jaws, I hissed, tail lashing. Hickorykit "Otkiz," I whispered, standing on shaking legs as I nudged my sister. (Owlkit) |

Stormpelt poked his head in the den, a plump mouse hanging from his jaws. Owlkit Owlkit rolled over, playfully batting at her brother. "Wat?" she asked. (*What?* Have they opened their eyes?) |

"Fallenpaw, time to go," I meowed, scraping dirt over my leftovers. Doestar "They're growing up do fast," I purred, gazing down at my two kits with adoration as Hickorykit clambered awkwardly around the nursery, sniffing and licking everything in sight. |

Stormpelt lifted his head out of his nest, not particularly motivated to do anything. The past few days were just the same thing over and over again: Hunt, freeze his paws off, have his paws nipped off by kits, repeat. He lifted his head at the sound of his mate, and nodded, purring. |
