Where the wolves meet (priv rp with Val)

"you are very skilled," krishna said with a soft smile as she stood up and shook her fur. she then playfully added, "and a half a size bigger than I."

marusudar also got up and shook off the dirt and snow from his pelt before also dipping his head respectfully to sarju, "good catch." he then turned to the thick forest and looked around, wondering if the others had been caught yet.

krishna also laughed and shielded herself from the flurry of snow while marusudar took a few steps in the direction varuna and meghna went, trying to see any signs of them returning. thankfully, through the thick bushes he the two wolves returning, both of them panting from the chase.

sarju also went over to the direction suvi and vellar went, wondering where they were. "should they have been back by now?" he asked, turning his head back to the others.



(maybe some danger ^^
like vellar and suvi run into a bear coming out early from hibernation or another pack or other wolves
if not I'll just send them back a little ruffled >:) )

"we're back," varuna announced as he and meghna approached the others. "after wearing me out enough, meghna caught me," he explained and flashed a smile to the other wolf. she flashed soft smile back before pinning her ears against her head and looking down.

sarju didn't say anything in response to vera or varuna, he only looked back in the direction the other wolves went in. something was off. he furrowed his eyebrows and followed the trail, hoping that he would see them coming. and he did- though he wasn't sure if that was a good thing.

rather than walking back, vellar and suvi were full-on sprinting back to the others. suvi reached the clearing first and flopped down to the ground out of exhaustion. crimson blood dripped from a cut behind her ear, straining her fur and the snow.

when vellar arrived, she skidded to a halt and barked, "bear!"

the others immediately went into panic, their fur and ears raising. "shouldn't they still be hibernating?" varuna asked, his voice now serious.

"i believe it just woke up. we found him further into the forest," vellar said in between pants, "lost him through the trees. we should be safe but we shouldn't lead it back to the den."

"we should've. ran from all the way from the west edge of the forest," vellar panted, turning to vera with her eyes wide. the other wolves with their fur on end gathered closer into the clearing.

"but it seemed like it was on a rampage," suvi managed to cough out as she sat up from the ground. sarju immediately walked over to look her over and then help her up.

varuna wrinkled his snout. "we must leave, take the long way to the den or cross some kind of water it cannot track us back. a bear waking early from hibernation must not be very pleased." the male then turned to vera, about to say something, before the roar of a bear pierced the air.

bursting from the bushes, a large bear emerged. its ruffled fur clung to its bones and it's eyes were sunken in. fresh out of hibernation, the bear must've been staving. the beast was a few good tail lengths away, allowing time for a speedy escape.

"well obviously," vellar barked before sprinting off, her white fur disappearing through the brushes.

"krishna, marusudar, go," varuna ordered before turning to vera, "suvi, sarju, and meghna have driven away bears before, they can assist you."

the two brown wolves nodded and ran after vellar, taking a route that led far away from a den and crossed a river to wash off their scents. varuna followed after them but paused once he reached the bushes to look back at vera and the remaining wolves.

the other three beige wolves took on defensive positions, fur raised, as the bear smacked down a small tree in it's way. the beast let out another thundering roar, this time directed at the wolves as if it were challenging them.
