Where the wolves meet (priv rp with Val)

varuna nodded and lead the other wolves away while the previous deer, now hunters, stayed together. vellar watched with a mischievous grin as suvi walked away, brewing a plan in her head.

the other hunters choose to rest, either sitting or laying down in the snow to regain some more energy.

once vera got up the others followed, their eyes and ears on alert.

the 'deer' had covered their tracks in the snow but a scent trail led them into the thick forest. in a small clearing, the 'deer' stood close together in a diamond pattern. they all took turns 'grazing' and keeping watch. it was a tight space. it was clear once a hunter sprang forward, the deer would scatter into the thick brush.

the hunters nodded and got into position. they surrounded the 'deer' yet managed to stay out of sight, just hopefully the wind wouldn't pick up and give away their location.

the 'deer' continued on pretending to graze but when suvi lifted her head to look around, her ears twitched and she gave the thicket another scan.

as soon as vera lept forward, the 'deer' scattered into the thick bushes. some ran straight into their hunter, such as marusudar and varuna but krishna ran straight into vellar while suvi managed to slip her way into the bushes.

sarju wasted no hesitation and tackled marusudar. the two wrestled on the ground with the 'deer' trying to kick away and the hunter attempting to pin them down. meghna on the other hand, was a little less confident in her skills and hesitated for a moment, accidentally letting varuna slip away. shelet out a small whine before beginning to chase varuna through the thick trees.

when krishna ran into her rather than suvi, vellar barred her teeth and growled. she slammed into the smaller brown female before going after to chase her own deer. krishna let out a surprised yelp and fell to the ground, watching as vellar ran away instead of capturing her. she then looked back to see where vera was before standing up and starting to run.

krishna trashed for a moment under vera before accepting defeat.

it took some time but eventually marusudar accepted defeat too, pretending to be 'limp' under sarju's paws. once the other male had given up, sarju let him go and dipped his head.

varuna was still on the run, taking quick twists and turns like a deer would throughout the forest with meghna struggling to catch up behind.

on the other side, vellar was catching up to suvi, who was leaping over logs and rocks in an attempt to shake vellar off her trail.
