Please submit your cs in this thread and limit any chatter here!Hello! welcome to flying flames! a HTTYD based rp set within the same time period as the movies with completely different characters! A few things to take note of, vikings do still hate dragons and fear them, you MAY tame a dragon with my permission as we do need to have a good amount of wild dragons first! Some dragons will have a limit that may be flexible, dragons on the list are less likely to be accepted ^^ Now before we get to far in this, please make sure to read the rules so everyone can have a fun experience here! Rules: Deeply harming or killing of someone else's oc is off limits unless the owner says its ok. Mary sueing/power playing is fully off limits. I would prefer a balanced amount of dragons and vikings but this is a little flexible. All site rules must be followed as well please notify me of romances so I can add them in. Age: 11 Gender: Female Sexuality: Straight Backstory: Fledgling: Iris's parents were killed by dragon hunters, just six months after her hatching. She had learned how to fly, and cloak, as well as shooting small plasma balls, which were only suitable for light. She fled into the forest, far, far, away from the fire, and her parent's bodies. Alone Life: Being alone forced Iris to learn how to fight. She could fire plasma balls, and usually hit her target, as well as learning how to use her speed and strength to her advantage. Iris stays far away from all human nests, as every glimpse reminded her of what she didn't have.  Stunning picture from here! Age: 15 years Gender: female (she/her) Sexuality: aroace Backstory: Her father passed away before she hatched. She lived alone with her mother for a few years until her mother met Frost and had her half sister with him. Nothing much happened until a years ago, when her mother and Frost were killed by dragon hunters. She had almost been killed too, but managed to get away with Skyglow. Appearance: She is a bit smaller than the average nightfury and has a slender build. Her scales are pitch black and her spikes and claws are a darker shade of black than her body. Her right eye is dark green, her left eye is blind. Age: 10 years Gender: female (she/her) Sexuality: pansexual Backstory: She had a pretty normal life and nothing much happened. Until a year ago her family was attacked by dragon hunters. Her parents were killed and her half sister had almost been killed too, when she was protecting her. They managed to get away in the end and have been living on their own since. Appearance: She is a bit smaller than the average nightlight and is a bit scrawny looking. Her scales are mostly pitch black. Her front paws and the edge of her fins are white. Her front claws are gray, while her back claws and spikes are black. Age: 16 Gender: Trans-Male (He/him pronouns) Sexuality: Pansexual, and Asexual Backstory: Simon was raised in a "nice" household, full of yelling yet sweet moments. Once he found out about dragons, it's all he would talk about. "Dragon this", "Dragon that". He knew a lot of different types, loving them all and favouriting the Shellfire species most. Simon is kind yet can anxious easily, even just a question can 'cause him to panic. He hates physical touch, unless he either asked or the person asked before touching him. Wanted to add more info about him: - Australian (said because of slang he probably would say) - Has trichotillomania (pulling out hair in random moments, or felt the hair in his hands. Age: 12 Gender: male Sexuality: bi Backstory:(optional): his mother raised him well and he was a happy hatchlings, but like a normal bird, he had to leave the nest after he was capable of taking care of himself. He has been in search of a good island for himself since, one where hunters can't get to him. Appearance: he appears slightly different than others of his species, with the orange colors being deeper and darker but more vibrant and the yellow being more golden, the blues being almost shiny too, but there is seemingly no real difference between him and others of his species other than that. He has a few scars, one across his muzzle, one down his stomach, and one smaller one on his tail, as well as the middle of the three spines his species has on their backs being missing. Age:17 Gender: female Sexuality: bi Backstory:(optional): she grew up elsewhere, somewhere behind the foggy waters. She had a rough life, being that she had less stamina than a normal viking. For the time zone, they wouldn't know why, but she has asthma, which causes the appearance of lower stamina. As such, I stead of hunting, building, or fighting, she decided to be a fisher. She went out on a ship, a small crew with her, but the sky was cloudy, and a storm started before they could head back. They were flung off course and, eventually, hit a rock. She fell unconscious, and when she woke, She was the only survivor as far as she knew, but she didn't really know why. It turned out that she fell through and Ocean Eddie, aka an ocean black hole (referencing recent news). She ended up on the island this way. Appearance: long, light brown hair and blue eyes, tan-ish skin, and wearing a typical viking outfit, more on the darker side of the brown colorings. She wore boar pelts usually.
