- Have chased wolves keep their family info (you can see their ancestry when they join your pack) - The regular game generated NBW's could stay as gen 1 |

While I understand chased wolves can go up in value, it doesn't necessity mean they're impossible to buy. Another thing about the NBW, the Studs you see selling out their slots weekly were not cheap to make as they are. Most have MoDs which is what makes them worth more, and there's a very very small chance that one player did not edit their stud if it was found as a chased. I had a NBW stud that easily took around 100GC to add markings and other changes, that's without counting the Mottled MoD I added as well. The reason that I would oppose for chased wolves to keep their history is that players have their own projects, and some involve chased wolves. I have started a project that involves T3 chased wolves and breed high stats generations. At some point, I will be using T3 chased wolves again for new bloodlines that will not inbreed my generation. Finding rare or higher value chased wolves isn't just based off of RNG, it's also based on other players chasing their wolves in the first place. Some do it to simply let others find and have rare wolves, and it wouldn't be the same if they had chased inbred wolves... Lastly, there's one reason I do not like high gen wolves and it has nothing to do with the generation. I simply like high stats, and there's rarely any high gen and high stats wolves out there. Why would I want a 300 stat +G20 pup of I could already breed a 500 stat G2? I get it that not everyone is into stats, but every player has their own preferences. The game has to be open for everyone to accomplish their goals, and I do not see chased wolves keeping their history becoming a thing |

If this is purely about making money there is still a whole other playstyle to use, stat breeding. Some of the most valuable wolves for sale out there are new lines that can advertise they bred high stats without using the most popular leaderboard studs. I buy a lot that are TI with maybe 1 good mark but bred well from a rare line. Also wouldn't keeping the lineage potentially make the inbreeding problem more irritating? If all it does is reset the age, many people would re-chase inbred wolves as soon as they find out they're inbred. I often buy inbred wolves for R&C. It would also make it harder to wade through the options to avoid popular studs you don't want to use again, as many of their kids would be coming back. |

I would love to see a suggestion on how to alternatively improve the wolf market, as far as I have seen there have not been many. My own suggestion to disallow inbreeding was one I made in hopes of that, but many players have inbreeding projects too, so I believe as it stands now it's hard to find a reasonable solution that would satisfy everyone because everyone has some kind of project that would be less profitable/inviable/impossible by such suggestions. We can't cater to all players at all times, but currently Wolvden caters to a specific type of playstyle (hard mode/gen 1) that many players are virtually forced to follow even if they don't enjoy it. What alternatives would you all suggest? |

Your point is valid, G1s will almost always be more valuable but that's due to the players. You can't change the economy in the game when the entire society in the game doesn't want to change it or do something about it. Like we all know, everyone has their own playstyle. It's just very simple that most players do not want to buy just any common wolf, everyone has their own preferences I spoke to a friend about chased wolves and prices from when wolvden started to now, and the prices have changed a lot. A T3 chased wolf would've been easily over 100gc, but that's not something we see now. I wanted to being that to light because it shows the game is slowly changing, but we can't see it yet because it's a slow process. I've noticed some changes as well from when I started a couple years ago to now, I could easily sell any T2 pup for a few hundred sc. The wolf market is difficult, but i think that's what you should try to focus on rather than chased wolves Mods recently added 3 things that caters to breeding; A new special base aquired by only breeding 2 new special markings Sets of new markings colors Of course anyone can breed then chase these wolves, but the mods do try to add value to generations The only alternative that I can see being able to help is high stats, this topic talks about the stat problems. |

I ended up joining groups that align with my projects and preferences to make it easier for me to be in a market where we can have similar prices given our work. I gave up on the wolf market, so I only put to sell a small amount of wolves. Ive started focusing on what my goals are rather than trying to cater to other players' preferences for wolves |
