Make stat and mutation repping possible!

@Glass It's a funny thing because I guess as the reasons you want it seem to be the reasons I don't. But hopefully we could at least get a breeding item as a middle ground even if they go with adding a replacing feature or don't. |

I am simply wondering how the different levels would impact a stat/heritage replacement since levels dont reset here with a new fixed role. I wasn't sure if you meant both to be replaced or not; only replacing stats could cheat the system. And since stats and levels both affect the roles (if your stud has one), I am more against it. |

@UnheardSiren, I suppose it be that way sometimes XD everyone seems to have vastly different preferences for gameplay. But yes even an item of some sort to duplicate male appearances could help. Or maybe even a higher replacing fee if you wish to keep your current breeder males appearance? :thonk: |

@Sienna Snow, Aah okay I see what you mean now! I think yes replacing everything to ensure no one takes advantage of the system, so level, stat, heritage etc all change to what the heirs is. Only appearance would be carried over c: Edit: basically it would work the exact same way as on Lioden where you are still using an entirely different wolf, the original wolf would be either killed or made so that it cannot become a breeder male again |

I kinda like that we have to change appearances here, it makes a refreshing change from LD. I think it will keep valuable traits, well, valuable as you won't be able to get a single wolf with good looks and keep that for an infinite amount of time. I am the kind of person that went with the same looks for about three years with one of my kings just because I could, so that will keep me from doing that again XD |

@Thalassa, That seems to be a fairly common concern, keeping appearances rare. However from my point of view it isn't necessarily decreasing the value, just saves the player a crap ton of GC from entirely remaking a stud they've put a lot of time and effort into. But! Everyone views it differently so maybe at the end of the day a nice compromise would be a crunchy worm type item that can be used on your breed male c: |

i also think i would prefer an item like the crunchy worm (but for males and females) rather than be able to stat/mut replace. i also would support an item that can be used in tandem with the crunchy worm item that increases the likelihood of passing a mutation. i think these two items would allow people who want their stud's looks to continue to greatly increase their odds of doing so without making it terribly easy for a rare stud to continue to exist. the player could most likely recreate their stud through breeding with items, but it wouldn't be as easy as just finding a high-stat mutated wolf to use as a rep for a rare appearance ^^ edit;; tldr: no support from me as of right now, but i completely sympathize with why people would want it. i just think implementing a few breeding items would keep the studding and pup market more stable and keep the incentive for breeding projects higher rather than having stat/mut reps |

No support, because it would make heritage replacing possible and clean breeding ended up ruining the economy on LD. I think additions to make clean breeding easier and more lucrative should be kept to a minimum. |

@Sneep, thank you for the input! Honestly at this rate I might suggest something similar to that then but I'd still like to see where this discussion goes. I do like the idea of being able to use multiple items at once to try and breed a better heir, it would also increase the value of said items if it's one of the few ways to breed a higher quality heir! @OwO what's this, when did clean breeding ruin the market :0 tbh I haven't been active on lioden in quite a while, I wasn't aware clean breeding had affected anything |

I don't really like this feature so I'd rather it not be put in game. I doubt we will see eye-to-eye on this because we value this game for different reasons. That being said, while I prefer it not to be added I am not going to be upset if it is eventually added. |
