The female was in her home, and the Cold Case's base, waiting for at least one of the others. She was on a chair, one paw resting on the table. It looked like she could collapse any second, but Hades was perfection with balance. Like usual, a cigarette was in her mouth, only removed so that the leader could puff out a cloud of smoke. |

A soft glow of flame grew brighter, visible under the door and approaching at a steady pace. A humanoid with the beak of a hawk crept into the room, her blue eyes darting around feverishly until she spotted Hades. She grinned, spreading her blazing wings, then folding them again to fit through the doorway. She combed a hand through her flowing wax-like hair, the black feathers along her arms and neck shivering. "Is that… smoke, I smell?" She tilted her head far to the side, her eyes wide with interest. She stepped closer, but maintained a respectful distance, eyeing the cigarette in Hades' mouth like a bird of prey. The fire coating her wings twisted and writhed, but none touched nor spread to any of the objects in the room. |

"You want one?" She asked, taking a pack of cigarettes out of her pocket, then placed it on the table and took out a lighter. Puffing out another cloud of smoke, the leader took her paw off the table and stood up, looking at Kari. |

The sinner's eyes widened, and she snatched a cigarette- but rather than light it with the fire on her wings and smoke it like Hades did, she just tossed it into her mouth and started chewing. "Thanks!" She grinned, the flames adorning her feathers leaping like someone had tossed a piece of firewood into a bonfire. She swiped her tongue over her silver beak and stretched her joints. "So… what'ch'ya doin'?" |

The female hesitated, clearly uncomfortable. Shaking her head, the hellhound responded. "Looking through our minor targets. You know the drill" After that, Hades padded over to where the book that they used to reach the human realm was stored. Picking it up, and a handbag to keep it in, the leader looked over to Kari again before hopping through the portal. "Don't do anything stupid, will you?" (If you want, Kari can hop through the portal aswell, but she would have to be quick) |

Kari nodded along, her grin never wavering as Hades spoke. Her eyes followed the black leatherbound grimoire that the hellhound often used for missions and runs into the realm of the living, placing her hands by her hips as she- just for a moment- almost seemed to remain reasonably in their headquarters and cause the minimum amount of trouble possible. Then she threw that possibility out the window, folded her wings, and dove through the portal just a fraction of a second before it shut. Stupidity waits for no man. |

"Seems you decided to join me, now get off me you dumb fuck" She barked, as Kari landed on the hellhound. They were at the back of a small house, two humans, seemingly parents, watched on the lower floor. The room above had it's blinds down, that had to be where the target was. "Look, our target is known for attempting demonic rituals. Let's get him before he does something right, hm?" |

Kari used her wings to slow her fall, rolling off of Hades and letting out a breath of smoke. A few black feathers lay clipped on the ground from where she had nearly missed the portal, but they didn't seem to bother her. She folded her wings by her side, the flames dying down enough that they didn't draw anyone's attention too soon. She narrowed her eyes, staring straight through the window from across the yard. "They seem old enough to be parents. Are we taking kid out too, or is this just another couple that wants a kid so they skip the actual legal processes and summon a demon?" Her expression was curious, but no longer as unserious as it was a moment before. |

"The parents don't have a target on their heads. It's the kid were after. Mind staying down here, just in case?" The leader asked, starting to climb a nearby tree. Once fully up, Hades opened the window and hopped in, pushing the blinds out of the way. Looking around, she realised just how determined the kid truly was. Books on rituals everywhere. Drawings of pentagrams. No light except for the candles around a large pentagram on the floor. Should be easy to kill, if I can find him... The hellhound thought, creeping around the room and realising just how small it was. Pulling out her dagger, Hades wasn't to do this job quickly, before her fears truly kicked in. |
