Kari didn't notice, still talking. "I like the smell of burning things, too." She stretched a wing out, shifting so she didn't light anything on fire. "My wings never burn. It's like… how some things can be coated in fire but not burn. I don't know, I dropped out of college." She grinned, trailing off and admiring her wings. |

"Well" Rosie started, "I better get going. I don't want to be late to my meeting!" She waved farewell and pranced out of the building, closing the door softly behind her. "You wanna go explore hell? Let's see if any others have a target for us" The hellhound spoke after a while. Standing up, she grabbed her keys and a gun, waiting at the door. |

Kari waved goodbye to Rosie, finding her quite fun. After the overlord had left, she turned to Hades with a tilt of her head. "Hmm? Oooh, sure! Sounds fun." She wrapped her wings around her body to fit through the door, following shortly behind Hades with a casual grin. |

Leading the sinner outside, she looked around. Anything interesting today? Hearing a few hove-steps, she turned her attention to a miniature goat. How could someone so young be in hell? -- Latheus -- The female was, like usual, exploring the alleyways of hell. The goat would sometimes climb the walls if they had enough texture. She was examining a wall to see if she could climb it, when a sinner and hellhound left a nearby building. |

The avian turned her gaze towards the goat, her blue eyes scanning over her features. She blinked. The sinner was… young. Really young. Why would a kid be in…? She folded her fiery wings by her side. She couldn't take her eyes off of the goat, for a reason she couldn't quite place. To anyone else, it would've probably been quite unnerving. "Who… are you?" She asked after another moment, her eyes narrowed. |

Kari glanced at the goat's burning tail and broken horn, to the blackened parts of her fur and toxic-looking purple. She didn't look familiar… but she felt familiar. When she introduced herself, then, Kari knew. "Oh." Her voice was uncharacteristically quiet. She looked troubled by something, now avoiding Latheus' eyes. |

"Uh… that's not—- I don't…" Kari was stumbling over her words now, something Hades had never seen her do. Her eye twitched, and her feathers fluffed out. The flames on her wings were dancing furiously. "…That's okay," She choked out, finally, "I don't… don't need any help." |
