EVERYTHING  ABOUT  THE  TURNED

What Animals Become Turned
Predators!
Predators of all kinds can become Turned, this does include birds like Eagles, Hawks, and Condors. However, birds turning is on the rare side. As the change does stem from salvia. If a bird were to eat a Turned Wolf they would not change unless they dug around in the wolf's mouth and there happened to be salvia still there.

Those Who Don't Turn
To put it simply, those who don't change have something within their DNA that seems to repel this 'disease'. It is unknown as to what that is, but there are some who whisper that it is some kind of blessing from the gods. While others may fear that it is just a fluke and they will turn at any second.

The Change
The change can occur as quickly as an hour after the bite, or take up to four days. It depends on the strength of the wolf mentally and their immune system. Those who start to change will become twitchy, and more prone to anger as these muscle spasms do cause them pain. Their bodies will start to feel fevered, and they'll salvate more. For those who change slowly, the process is more painful as their sanity starts to slip from their clutches.

Their Pain
As this change is sort of a mix between paralytic rabies & furious rabies, their pain respirators do not respond as they should. They will know something isn't right with their body, but that pain will only serve to fuel their rage. The more pain they are in the 'stronger' they may seem. However, this is a big downfall on their part as wounds do affect their bodies. The more open wounds, missing limbs, and blood loss they have the more blood and flesh they need to eat. The less they get the weaker they get until their body shuts down.

System Shut Down
As mentioned above, the Turneds bodies will shut down if they do not get the much-needed blood and flesh in their stomachs. While blood alone is helpful and can sustain their dying bodies to a certain extent, the flesh of living creatures is what truly keeps them going. This is why some of the Turned look like the walking dead, because they indeed should be but they are eating enough living things to keep them alive. If the Turned do not get blood and flesh from living creatures they can resort to eating each other or themselves. However, this only prolongs the inevitable end that awaits them.

The longer an animal has been Turned, the more foul-smelling they become and the closer to 'Zombies' they become. Their blood and flesh turn foul and discolored, and if one makes it long enough it may even turn blackish. What happens, is their blood is no longer any good, so their systems start to shut down bit by bit. The fresh meat and blood they eat help refresh the blood in their systems, keeping their body moving and functioning. But if enough of their systems have shut down even as they find prey, then the creature will end up dying sooner. If one were to have all of its legs broken, it would not be able to move and suffer from a system shutdown as well.

Best Killing Methods
Snapping their neck

Severing any part of the spinal cord

Decapitation(If you can pull that off with your power)

Blue is Eliza's Pack & Red is Lilith's Pack
Those-Who-Survive-Map-RP-Biomes-Territory

Generally, meetings will happen at the lower part of the throat at the Lake. And yes I made the Lake look somewhat like a wolf head on purpose. Think of it as exposing one's neck, this is a point they are to open up to each other and share what each one holds in their paws regarding important matters.

Danger Levels
Those-Who-Survive-Map-RP-Danger-Zones
Green - Safe, highly unlikely you will encounter a Turned.
Yellow - Still safe, but you might find one or two roaming about.
Orange - Somewhat safe, you will start to notice an increase in Turned
Red - Not safe, beware, you are highly likely to encounter Turned.
Dark Red - Certainly not safe, you will need to tread carefully if you dare.
Black - Absolutely not safe, Turned galore, death ensues.

Note: If you are wondering why there is more Danger in the warmer areas that is because there are more huntable things. As mentioned above, the Turned need fresh blood and meat. These things are already harder to come by in the cold lands. The reason currently that the Icelands are blacked out out is due to there being nothing to fight and kill off the Turned. So the remaining ones are just roaming and hunting until they eventually die out.
