This suggestion will be somewhat similar to "Swap marking slot", however I believe my proposal differs enough from it to exist on it's own. From my experience the game relies too much on RMAs when it comes to applying specific markings in specific slots. It is often impossible to access certain breed only marks and even when they do exist on a public stud, players are often restricted to just one slot with no way of changing it and therefore having to rely on RMAs. I believe this reliance makes this game more of a gambling simulator, not a breeding game that requires strategy and long term planning. The way this item would work:
I believe that those limitations would introduce a strategy element into the game. On top of that an item like this could help players not only design their own wolves but also introduce more diversity between them. Players would be able to play around with their designs, rather than rely on RNG with either RMAs or currently available studs and still often having to settle on whatever the game decides to give them. This suggestion does not aim to create an item that completely solves Wolvden's overreliance on RNG when it comes to breeding rare marks. The purpose is to give players more control over their designs in order to make their wolves truly theirs and not just descendants of some popular stud. Thank you for reading my suggestion! |

There's nothing worse than rolling a good mark on a wolf just for it to be too low/high in the slots. Example: Auburn inverted cross in slot 10, or Doubloon Orca in slot 1. IMO the item could even be on the pricier side - it'd still be amazing! What I hate the most about RMAs is that you cannot really design the wolf, you just have to work around what you roll, and it would solve this trouble! |

I believe that because RMAs exist and you can obtain raffle stud marks from them it kind of defeats this argument. Currently there are 29 pages of wolves with Aspen Inverted Panda but only 11 of them have it in the Slot 6 (which belongs to Yarrow). On top of that none of these wolves are a stud so if players did not get this mark from (most likely) RMAs it would be literally unobtainable which defeats the purpose of spending time to create this marking in the first place. I could see this being a point if you couldn't obtain those markings from RMAs. But then again there always is the option of excluding these markings. Like how for example a T5 marking is the one that is currently unable to be obtained from RMA. |
