Rebel heard Less calling him, watching her gaze scan the area. Cmon, stop being a chicken. he told himself.

He stepped out of the shadows, his black figure looming against the forest.
"I..I'm here." He said shyly, avoiding Alurias gaze.

Lusserina smiled weakly. "These are my friends. They helped me when I was lost."

Aluria nodded. "Any friend of Luss is a friend of mine. Thank you for helping her," she said. "But Luss, you should hurry back to the den. Whatever mauled the other hunters is still out there. You're welcome to bring your friends. I'll put in a good word for them."

Lusserina nodded solemnly. "You go ahead," she said. "We'll catch up."

"If you say so," said Aluria. "I'll let them know you're alive." She bowed her head to the three before turning tail and running off, leaving the trio alone in the woods. 		Nuff

Rebel cocked his head slightly, she was the first wolf, besides the two, who hadn't gawked at him, running away in fear. Phewf, ok, step one, cleared.
Rebel spoke, a little out of breath. "She, seems nice."

"She is," Lusserina said, and then steeled herself. "There's a problem, though. She says my huntmates have been mauled so horribly that the pack's on high alert. Nobody's allowed to go out to where they were hunting but the scouts. I just have a terrible feeling about this. I can't imagine they were all mauled by a bear." 		Nuff

"Bears are rather peaceful." Rebel added out loud. That's terrifying. What would be strong enough to maul a whole group of hunters?

Rebel remembered the thing he saw outside of his den and shivered.
