Lusserina cringed. She'd never been the most situationally aware in the mornings. "Whoops, sorry about that." She turned to Rebel. "Welcome back."

She eyed the bird in his mouth. Not bad, she thought, and turned her attention to their location. If they were in the mountains, then they should head directly eastward. They'd hit the deciduous forest before the riparian woodlands. Perhaps they'd find her sister first. 		Nuff

"Gyum, thhamks." He muttered with the feathered bird in his mouth.

A sudden feel of dread swept over him, he did not know why, but it was sudden. He turned his head with the turkey, looking off into the shadows of the forest brush. His heart skipped a beat when he saw a wide mouth of teeth and red glowing eyes. He blinked hard in fear and disbelief, it was gone.

What?
He walked worriedly into the den, dropping the bird, before staring outside, looking for the thing.

Silver chuckled. "It's alright." He laughs. He noticed rebel. "Rebel, are you alright?" He asks padding up concerned.

"What's wrong?" Lusserina asked, noticing how her companion stood on edge. She tried peering outside the den but couldn't see a thing out of the ordinary. She took a sniff of the air, though the scent of the turkey overpowered most else. Perhaps she was a little hungrier than she'd anticipated. "Did something happen? I don't see anything out there." Rebel turned around and focused on the bird, stripping off all the feathers. "I saw something, but," he stopped, not finishing his sentence. Once the turkey was rid of most of its feathers, he distributed it evenly.

He grabbed his own piece and started munching.

Strange, Lusserina thought, but she didn't bring the subject up again. Perhaps they were a little on edge from telling stories the night prior. They weren't exactly the nicest stories in the world, after all.

She took her piece of the turkey and began to eat, satisfying her angered stomach. 		Nuff
