I know that as otherwise non-binarys would get screwed even more so for a 3rd year in a row, but I mean their preference is actually marked as liking it as well. I don't see that changing but If it does I'll be surprised.

All dateables have that same preference listed right now
That's why grouse house isn't adding the preferences of the NPCs added after the quick fix because every single dateabke now has all the preferences in that picture

When do we get the dateable NPCs' background/decor? I have reached 50 affection with a couple and haven't received the dateable wolf decor item like last year.

You have to get them on the wolfs dating page, there'll be a collect option now. 		Ironbeast

There's no confirmation that the preferences will be changed from what they currently are. The assumption that they'll be reverted back to having specific preferences is purely speculation and hope.

Judging from the results of the poll wanting all NPCs playersexual, I doubt it'll change. We'll have to see how next year goes.
