I believe there's someone in the Wanted: Wolves board right now who's looking for NBWs with the Sky, Pale, or Lavender base! ^^

Yikes, that post for the Sky has some really terrible vibes.
I raise special colors like that specifically because a lot of people love to collect them, but many breed-only bases have longer lines or inbreeding.
And yes, sometimes they do only have a few markings!

Honestly this forum is super discouraging, I spend a LOT of extra free time on WD that I really don't have much of, because I raise and chase. Any you know what raising and chasing is? Putting yourself through a bunch of extra hassle in hopes that at least someone will appreciate it or be happy.

So seeing really disrespectful, ungrateful posts all the time? Like can yall literally not? At least if you're going to trash something that people do out of love and hope, the least you can do is shut your mouth and not rub it in the faces of the chasers that you have no respect for their time and efforts. Seriously.

@trax

part of raising and chasing is realizing that one person's treasure is another's trash. don't raise and chase wolves unless you're okay with parting with them forever, and leaving their fate up to another.

in all honesty, if I had spent 5gc on that sky wolf, i would be disappointed as well.

@trax i get your frustration as a raise and chaser myself, but if you spend the food and amusement and territory to raise a wolf with 2 markings that could easily be generated by the game itself, maybe you should expect that people may not want the wolf? i don't find it disrespectful. i r&c wolves that i know for sure will be valuable and someone would be happy to find! the user doesn't seem to be ungrateful, probably just frustrated because they spent 5gc on a wolf that isn't worth 5gc

I R&C too and I know that a lot of my Low Mark wolves are gonna be passed up or deleted entirely. Even the ones with nice mark/opci combo, it's gonna happen, do I *want* them to a good home? Well, yeah, but I'm not gonna be too miffed if no one keeps them and they're deleted off the site entirely. that just means more room for more wolves.
