I have this litter of T1 x special: wolvden.com but I keep making mistakes trying to submit forms, so I'll let someone else enter it if they are interested.

Hi! IAny chance you would expand this project to non-Special bases?  It seems like we might need better data on those also.

Additionally, it seems like there could be inheritance differences depending on whether the two parental bases have matching categories or not - have you considered splitting your data up based on that?

There's another thread by a different user for T3 breeding already ^^ And we know the rates for T2 and T1 breeding pretty reliably thanks to Grouse House.

And as it is impossible to match the special base category (both colour and shade have to match for the bonus and from the sounds of what the devs have said in teasers special bases work differently to any other anyway), I'm currently not splitting matching bases. But the data is there if I see any bias towards Light wolves having higher Tier pups.

3/4 of the Selene pups I had last night came from light mothers, and one from a dark.  Mostly from Pale (cool light) bases.

Half the Selene pups in the data are from Medium and Dark parents, not light. So currently, no difference ^^
Edit: actually make that just over half aren't from lights :)

Impressive!  So that was just some odd luck in my den.  I'll have to continue breedings and see what comes of it.  I'm really more interested in getting some new T3 blood than second gen specials.... but selling the special pups might make me enough GC to recoup some stud fees for the first gen T3s too.

I think the special x special pass rate might also skew the results to being in favour of breeding to lights too. Since 3 of the ones in the data are special x special pups. And for the T3s born to T3s, one is from an Chromium and one is from a Fox, so no difference I can see there yet either. But I can't really make proper conclusions with the current data cus there just isn't enough of it lol. So please keep sending them in when you have pups from selenes :D

I do a lot of mass breeding- I have tons in my pack that were born last night and haven't chased any yet, but they are mostly T2 x special and my brain does not fill out forms easily.  I get frustrated too quickly.  But I'm happy to keep doing the breedings and let you know when I have specifically what you're looking for.  I'm tempted to try a fox x special breeding today.  The stud I selected for my in heat fox hasn't had any activity on the account for five days.... so I should probably pull the breeding and switch studs.

I'll be switching my stud out semi-soon for a Selene boy and throwing NBWs at him so I'll be able to get some data for you.

My Selene (Special Light) stud and T2 Pewter Monochrome Dark) female have given me a T3 Striped Flint (Monochrome Medium) today. So it looks like you can get a T3 from a special x T2 breeding, even when a category doesn’t match. This is also my first ever breeding with  special base stud. Maybe beginners luck! Now I’m pairing all my T2 females to my special to see what I get.
