Korosu | Darkclaw "Ah, yes. That was my next question. Information on Lightheart." He turned his blistering gaze to the pale she-wolf. "Are they planning to attack? Because I heard of a certain pup running away and getting captured...~" He said in a teasing tone, but turned his eyes back to the vixen when he saw her lift a leg. Placing a large leg in the direction she moved, he flattened his ears halfway. "Tell me the price, and I'll think about it. I definitely want the information, first. I know how foxes work." He cooed. ~ ~ ~ Sainen | Lightheart However... when she spoke out to her pack none of them at all had even responded to her words. NONE! This also fueled her anger. She believed that her pack was just going to get themselves killed by not listening to what she had to say. Whatever this small fox had to say could prove that either one, she was right or two, she shouldn't even bother with her pack because they wouldn't listen, and she could stay right on the border as they fought to their hearts' content. She listened to the large, dark wolf, an almost perfect contrast of herself, and she nodded. "I never imagined myself agreeing with a Darkclaw wolf, especially under these conditions," she added, more to herself. "But I would like to know Darkclaw's current state and when they will attack. I want to know this so, as a result, I can keep myself alive while my foolish pack is out ripping their own heads off, basically, because that's what I think will happen." ~ ~ ~ The two waited in silence for the vixen to reply. |

"Food, pretty things. Silver and gold pinecones, herbs, things like that. And I'm not giving any information until I have my payment. Or else I'll talk to her." She looked at the female, "But I expect the same thing from you. I don't have information on when they will attack but I have the layout of the pack and... some more interesting information. For both camps." Making this up on the spot-)) |

Sainen | Lightheart The pale female spoke first. "I have a small collection of shiny rocks under my sleeping area, and one golden pinecone I found sticking out of the ground a while back." She said, her smile wide. "I'd be willing to give you a few rocks before and the rest of the rocks and the pinecone after." She added. Knowing she was ahead of the Darkclaw wolf so far, she sat down, tracing the number of items she'd be giving to the vixen in the dirt. ~ ~ ~ Korosu | Darkclaw The brute listened to the female talk steadily, sitting down as well."I am willing to listen to any information. I can slip some herbs from the little medic's den, and get you something small like a grouse, but I can't look too suspicious leaving camp with a bunch of food. I'll give you some herbs first, then the rest and the meat after." He said, his voice firm, proving he wouldn't budge his trade at all, just like the Lightheart wolf. It seemed she had her own wits about herself, as well. Maybe not all Lightheart wolves were stupid and terrible, after all. Meeting the eyes of the she-wolf, they nodded in unison, almost as if they'd known what the other was thinking. "However, if you take the things and try to run, you aren't getting away without us knowing about the other pack." He seemed completely fine with the other canine knowing the information of his pack, and she, him. |

Ailera frowned and sat down, her tail flicking as she thought. "Fine. But I also want to be able to come to the packs when I need food. You wolves have scared all the small animals away and I can't take down things much bigger than myself." That was a lie... kind of. But she sighed and shook herself off. "Meet me back here at sunrise tomorrow, and bring what you'll give me. Then I'll tell you what I know." the vixen said. "And I wouldn't run. I'm not that stupid, with two packs on the brink of war and two wolves desperate for their pack to win." she got up again, half turning and calling over her shoulder, "If you see me at the light pack, kindly let me take the food. It'd be great to have something more to eat." before either of them could retaliate, Ailera bounded off, tapping into her speed and leaving them far behind as she went to her den. It wasn't the best trade, but she wouldn't tell them all she knew. The fox slowed, trotting into her den with a smug grin. |

Sainen | Lightheart Sainen nodded. "I'll be there, but if you want food, you have to come to me directly without alerting anyone. Also, I don't care who wins. I care about saving my own hide." She said with a smile. The dark wolf nodded. "Same here. It would be nice to win, but... it doesn't matter, I guess." He said in his deep voice. Flicking his ears, he eyed the vixen. "And you must be extra careful if you come to Darkclaw for food. It'd be harder than fooling those lighthearted, well, Lighthearts." The she-wolf took no offense to this with a stoic expression. They both watched the fox sprint away. "She's not going to tell us everything, is she?" Sainen asked quietly. "At least it's something." The Darkclaw wolf shrugged, before standing up and padding away slowly. Sainen flicked her tail before also leaving the small clearing they'd spoken in. She just hoped no invisible eyes had watched in the veil of the forest. ~ ~ ~ Korosu | Darkclaw The brute didn't want to go back to the pack smelling of Lightheart. He'd just say he chased the fox over the border and ran into a Lightheart wolf, but she cowered and promised not to say anything. Yeah, that sounded like a good excuse. Korosu took his time walking back to the camp, catching a large, plump male grouse on his way back. |

Ailera rearranged her collection, making space for the new shinys she would be getting. As her stomach rumbled slightly to remind her, she sighed and dug around for any more food. Yep, nothing. With a shake of her fur, she supposed it would be time to visit the light pack. ------------ The vixen pulled the rat like thing, it was clearly going to be for a pup but it was mangled from the larger wolves, away from the pile and back towards the bushes to eat. She'd rather eat near the pack than take something with wolf scent home. |

Caelum walked over to some of his fellow Lightheart wolves, "Do any of you think I was being irrational? Maybe Bright star was right and they can be reasoned with, but in the past, they have only shown aggression. I fear if we wait they will destroy us all. Earlier Sainen was right too, we are in no condition for battle, we could just be walking into our deaths. What do all of you think would be the proper course of action?" Primrose stood with Bright star, "Do you want to send a messenger to negotiate a meeting time and place? I would volunteer of course, but a meeting might give them time to set traps. We could always just march into camp, but it might seem like an invasion, what do you suggest we do?" |

Sainen | Lightheart Sainen slipped out of the camp with a few shiny things for the little vixen. She made sure not to seem suspicious for all that saw her on her way out. Her nose close to the ground, the light-pelted she-wolf caught onto the scent of a fox. Hoping it was she the same one, she followed it silently, her ears flicking back and forth. Finally, she found the small vixen and smiled slightly. "Hello there. Have you already met the Darkclaw wolf? Just out of curiosity." Sainen asked quietly.~~~ Korosu | Darkclaw Korosu was sitting down, staring out into the undergrowth surrounding the camp. He looked quite alert, for he was looking for the fox. He wondered if he'd have to find her himself, or if she wasn't going to meet him at all. If that were the case, she wouldn't get anything from him, anyway. He was patient, and not worrisome at all. |

"Not at all. I can speak with you then go to him." Ailera replied in the same tone. She chose some of the none broken bones and trotted off with a gesture to follow her. The vixen stopped near the border and sat down. "What did you bring?" Ailera asked quickly, beady eyes flicking to the things the she-wolf held. Sorry it's small it's late and I'm going to sleep soon)) |
