Posted 2022-05-20 01:22:09 (edited) #752761 Hello! As I write this, there are currently only 71 packs located in the glacier. When I searched in Active Groups, I didn't see any group dedicated to the biome! I would be willing to create and manage a group, but I want to see interest first. Together, we could support one another's packs, share food/amusement between those willing, and more easily seek out trades between other glacier members. We could also set up a glacier-only forum for roleplay, fishing, etc. I would also be willing to host monthly raffles, especially if enough people were willing to chip in on prizes. One idea I especially find appealing, is hosting our own raffle stud! We could do this by using a placeholder prize with the in-game raffle system, and the winner will be selected that way. The winner could get a refunded studding from the "raffle stud," and we change it up every week (or month) to showcase cool studs from the community! The raffle stud could be determined by a poll. Feel free to suggest other activities, and please do comment if you're interested! If there is an already existing glacier-only group, then please tell me about it because I can't find anything. EDIT: Probably the only withstanding rule will be that you must live in the glacier. There could be a 7-10 day grace period for members that move somewhere else to get items or food. Another thing I can see the group doing is providing support to people who want to move to the glacier! It's a beautiful biome, and together we could make it seem like less of a daunting task to newer members. We could also breed and produce wolves high in wisdom that make it easier to scout the glacier, selling them to non-glacier folks who need help. (I remember struggling intensely as a newbie to unlock the glacier in particular!) EDIT 2: We could also do fishing tournaments with group-funded prizes!!! 50/50 Large Branches
50/50 Large Leaves
50/50 Large Rocks

Ah, that's good to hear! :D

I also thought about a discord, but I will admit that I have had trouble managing/moderating them in the past (due to mental health reasons). So I cannot promise anything in that aspect!

Alright, folks. I have all the materials needed to start the group! What should we call it?

Here are my ideas:

The Glacier Guild (having glacier in the name will make us easier to find via search!)
The Northern Pact (this is from an old forum post which you can find here)
Wolves of the Glacier, Glacier Pack Pact, etc. (i'm just making stuff up)

My vote is going towards the Glacier Guild, as it's the most simple and has alliteration. Feel free to suggest your own! We have plenty of time to decide.
