I'd appreciate any input at all, just curious to see other perspectives and be introduced to software that I could potentially use. (I'm sorry if this is the improper forum for this topic) |

-Free- Medibang/Firealpaca- this program is great for starting off as it's super intuitive! Many big digital artists use it just fine to make amazing art. I also personally use it! The only downside though is that it is not super easy to import new costum brushes. Krita- this one has a lot more to offer when it comes to brushes and animation! But it's less intuitive for starting off, but if you get the hang of it, it can be a very versatile program to work with. For this one MAKE SURE TO WATCH TUTORIALS! -pay to use- Procreate- like Romba said the brush selection is as mazing!! It's a super intuitive program although there are many hidden feature so I'd recommend a tutorial, and it's a pay once deal for like 10 bucks if I remember correctly. This option is best for touch devices like ipads. These are just the ones I personally use and know so this may be biased but any program has its perks, it's up to you to take the time to learn it and make it work, practice really is everything! Hopefully this helps :) |

I've illustrated with Photoshop, Sai, Procreate before, and none of those are as much fun as CSP is. It's really my comfort software |
