Welcome to Round One of Best in Show!
This is a competition exclusively for members of the Monochrome Lovers Guild. However, anyone is welcome to spectate, member or not!

I am aware that Round One already happened, but it was canceled due to lack of participants. Just pretend it doesn't exist

Due to not being able to edit group forum posts, this and future rounds of Best in Show will be in the regular chatter forums until there is an update.

This event's round will start on Wednesday, March 15th and end on Tuesday, March 21st at 23:59WDT.
Wolves submitted after this time slot will be disqualified.
What is this?
This is a competition between members of the Monochrome Lovers Guild to see who has the best looking wolf! Participants' submissions will be judged based on the wolf's overall appearance, as well as decoration, and how well they fit the theme.

Each round will last one week. During that time span, participants can submit one of their wolves. Results will be announced around 1-2 days after the submission time slot ends.
This round's theme:
Space!
Wolves with lunar marks, bases, etc. and space-themed or lunar decor will recieve more points!

Rules
1. Only members of the Monochrome Lovers Guild may participate in this contest.
2. Participants may only submit one wolf per round.
2a. Once a wolf is submitted, it cannot be modified switched out with another wolf. I will be keeping a record of all submissions, including their wolf link and image.
3. Submissions are not required to fit the theme, but more points will be rewarded if they do.
4. There are no requirements for this round. All wolves are allowed!
5. If your wolf has won a round before, it can not be re-entered into the current or future rounds.
6. There must be at least 10 participants in order for this round to be judged.
7. All wolves must be submitted on this thread only.

Prizes!
1st place will recieve a Base Applicator [Storm]!
2nd place will recieve 1500 and 3 !
3rd place will recieve 500 !

A shiver runs down your spine as you walk through the barren wasteland, eyes occasionally glancing up at the twisting, vibrant auroras. You've heard the stories, creatures danced in them and if you weren't watching, or if you didn't have a weapon of some sort, they came down and ripped of your head. It seemed like one of the streaks were rushing down at you, which caused you to trot faster, but you skidded to a stop when the ice below creaked and groaned, great . You took a small, cautious step as the ice crackled below, looking to the massive island. You sped up, claws rasping against the bright, almost blue ice every time it cracked enough, resulting in two slabs ramming together, min-erosion, nice. You stopped at the last bit of ice, now at the frosty, cliffed island, about you step off onto solid land when you heard a crack, turning your head, what could only be described as space itself stood to the left of you, hidden in the shadows. Her star-speckled fur and azure eyes was all you could see, but as she moved closer, you saw her other, benevolent features.

" We..D-Don't get too many visitors here...H-Hell-Hello. "

The small she crouched, seemingly submissive. Her long tail swayed back and forth in a curious, friendly manner as she crept closer, but she finally stood to her full height when she neared you. You finally got a good look at her, her star speckled fur actually glowed, and the lupos-like markings in her fur looked just like the ice you ran across. She wore a Regalia, silver-stringed with gems on the end that looked the color of amethysts, She was older than you thought, about 6 years, you assumed. She was terribly small for her size, was she a runt? " Who..Who- " She started, stuttering terribly, but you cut her off, " I am (your wolf of choice's name), It's nice to meet you..I've..Never met such a pretty wolf in my entire life. " You said, studying her pelt, she lit up at that, her wag quicked and she finally took a moment to sniff you, a small lick and nudge on the shoulder when she finished. " Thank-Thank y-you..- Y-you must be c-col-cold! " She yipped, the energy of a pup seemed to pulse within. You nodded slightly, swaying your tail back and forth.  " C-Come on then-t-then. I-I..M-My pack's cl-close by! " She dipped her head and turned, and you followed quickly behind.
