[Custom Decor] Custom Decor System Needs Reform

I think maybe part of what's contributing to this issue is different reviewers having totally different standards and opinions regarding Wolvden's style and what conforming to that style actually means. It's possible that a reviewer might think the lineart is too thin, reject the CD for that reason, then a different person reviews the revised submission with thicker lineart, but has a totally different opinion on what lineart should look like and rejects the lineart for being too thick. This is inevitably creating all sorts of confusion and contradictions, so it's no wonder people are very upset and frustrated. The same also goes for the CD rules -- the team is very much NOT on the same page with the rules. This is why a big argument I've made in this thread is retraining the team to get them all on the same page. In this response I brought up a couple of specific examples. Whoever reviewed the princess crown CD and the Dawn Regalia CD I linked to obviously has a completely different opinion about lineart than whoever rejected me and Shun's recent piece for the lineart being too thin. Likewise, whoever reviewed my slot machine CD obviously has a completely different opinion about the CD rules than whoever approved the treasure chest CD and the pile of Guarana CD.

Which then means that their own rules are so vague that not even their own staff can figure out what does and doesn't match their style.

Which...considering Brad exists with his current artwork...that checks out. (Sincerely sorry to whoever drew Brad, your art is beautiful, but something about all his official artwork just doesn't feel like it belongs )

To be honest, I do sort of get the vibe that the team doesn't really take this seriously. Some of us are disabled and some months maybe we are dependent on CD commissions to pay our bills... so yeah, it's a big deal to us when the system is this much of a mess. I do sincerely hope that Xylax's oversight and input over the next several months will have the team functioning like.. you know... a team.

Yea, the fact that we are told there can't be scar only CDs and then a scar only CD gets approved. Some people can get paw pad recolors approved while others can't? We can't make things that "exist in game" is one artist getting rejected over said paw pad recolors while eye recolors are done all the time?
None of it makes any sense and the CD team needs to be brought all onto the same page bc the inconsistencies are not at all fair. Every time someone submits a CD it feels like a luck of the draw thing with whether or not it gets approved or relentlessly rejected.
