That brings to mind another issue that came up recently with the head artists inconsistently adhering to the rules. When I initially made my slot machine decor, they told us that it would be totally fine for me to draw Gold Cones and Guarana etc falling out of the machine. But when I submitted it they forced me to remove all of that because it was apparently against the rules. Then recently a treasure chest decor filled with Gold Cones and Guarana was approved. Like... what? |

I also remembered something, I'm too tired to search it up right now for accuracy, but there was a rule that said something about decors that aren't allowed would include "things that the game already provides" including eye colours and scars. Yet, there have been a bunch of eye colours while scars have been rejected. I think the logic for allowing eye colours was that eye colour decors don't include genetics so they don't affect the game, and they only meant to disallow custom decors of eye colours that were already in the game to begin with. But then why doesn't this logic apply to original designs of scars, which are not affected by any genetics or have any bearing on the game? I tried to make a decor that wasn't really a scar but kind of worked like one, and it was rejected of course on the grounds that it's a scar. I was thinking maybe they were planning to add something like this and didn't want me to steal their idea (years after it seems to not be the case) but then someone made a decor with blue lunar scars, and that one was accepted. I just can't see their logic in some cases |

Let me know why there's a tag for scars in the custom decor filters if scars are supposedly against the rules |

I tried to get this decor approved earlier this year and its rejection was the reason I quit trying to make CD for *months*. Now, I have been trying again. I have received at least 3 rejection notices for this CD, with the first one CLEARLY stating "This CD WILL be approved, but you need a black outline on the hair" and a few "you may also add" suggestions thrown in. So, I went back and completely redid the hair so that it would be accepted. SINCE fixing that, I have received two more rejections based on entirely separate details that were not mentioned as 'unless you fix these, it won't be accepted' in the first rejection, which is so unfair to make an artist wait for a month just to be told that the wolvden devs have decided on a new nitpicky fucking detail that doesn't meet their requirements all of a sudden. Not to mention, the nitpicked detail? A few pixels on some TINY chains. There are hundreds of approved decors that are more pixelated than these chains, whose pixels are almost entirely hidden due to size and placement on the CD anyways! Where is the consistency? At this point I feel lied to and like Xylax is literally dragging me along after saying 'this will be approved' while having apparently no intention to actually do so. Here's a picture of the chains in question, zoomed super far in so that the pixels are ACTUALLY noticeable. |
