DRAGONSPINE
a vast, sand-filled abyss of a place walked exclusively by those who are utterly lost or have found themselves ostracized. an incredibly barren plain with very few places or wolves for respite. the wolves that do linger tend to be malintended and it's best to avoid them where possible. the dragonspine desert's namesake hails from the smatterings of large, hollow-bone skeletons which haunt the dunes; from another age; from unknown beasts whispered to be dragons. if there is one thing, however, that you should not do, it is mention dragons; theorize on the bones draconic origins. the locals treat that word like it's a curse. maybe it is one.
MOONPOOL
a place of great comfort tightly knit into the mountainous ranges at the edge of kigovs territory. beware the chasms, however; snakes are said to slither about. those who inhabit this underground poolspace are incredibly religious and take everything as a sign from their respective gods; careful, the mood can sour to deathly levels if a vulture is simply overheard crowing when you enter a cavern, or some other seemingly insignificant event or coincidence occurs. they are generally healers and believe their glowing pools to have healing properties in and of themselves.
SLICKFROTH
those who live in the hail-drenched high snow-cap mountain ranges of jrrokgnar are notorious for their rather barbaric traditions and lack of empathy towards outsiders. they are fiercely loyal but even more strongly stuck in their "for the greater good" ways, leading to them committing some more ethically and morally questionable acts for what they consider a better future. there are multiple subgroups within the "slick froth" range specifically, such as the hroknall and the kveschkyna. all subgroups have different traditions and cultures. one popular trend is stringing beads together with colors relating to hunting trials. every prey and predator species has a different color or bead design.
