River was the first lead of the Dark Striders. She led her pack with confidence and strength. Her pack thrived under her leadership; she was beloved by her members. River knew her time would eventually have to end, however. She knew that an heir would need to be chosen. River searched far a wide for an heir, but had no success. But then… a young puppy came to the pack, and sparked River's interest. River took her into her care, and soon after, made her decision. She proudly announced to the pack that Lillian, the brave and beautiful pup, would become their new leader! She was confident in her decision, knowing that Lillian would be able to lead the pack to new horizons.

Lillian is the second leader of the pack. Her first action as leader was to rename her pack the "Daylight Dreamers" as an ode to the values and characteristics of her pack members. She knows her duty, and makes sure breeding, hunting, scouting, trading, pupsitting, and more happen every day to benefit the pack. One of her personal missions is to take in and nurture as many pups as possible, just like River and Brooklyn did for her. She has biological offspring, as well as numerous adoptive offspring and relatives that she cares for all the same. She is a very wise leader, always making the best decisions for her pack. When it came time to choose her mate, she selected the loving and talented Asher. Together, they fearlessly lead the Daylight Dreamers, marching towards a brighter future.
