Screaming Pines
Wolves of Screaming Pines
—x——x——x—
Named in honor of the howling winds of their mountainous territory, Screaming Pines is a tight-knit group of reclusive but friendly wolves that was founded by two young females fleeing their birth pack and a pair of sisters. The wolves of Screaming Pines tend to avoid contact with other packs, regardless of friend or foe, but are known to accept certain lone wolves into their ranks, most being females.
The pack resides in the harsh, unpredictable environment of the mountains, their camp nestled at the base of the cliffs and overlooking a large lake surrounded by forest. They den in a long since abandoned mineshaft, slowly clearing away rubble and adding soft bedding to make it a comfortable place for tired pack members to rest.

Roles
—x——x——x—
➤• Leader: Head of the pack. A capable female wolf with good communication skills voted in by the pack.
➤• Advisor: Second in command. A female wolf handpicked by the leader who assists her in making important decisions. She may have another role in addition to this.
➤• Herbalist: Third in command. A knowledgeable, intelligent wolf voted in by the pack who is in charge of medicine and healing sick or injured pack members.
➤• Stud: The only male exclusive role. A wolf voted in by the pack who is willing to be a surrogate for those who need it. He may have another role in addition to this.
➤• Hunters: Those the pack relies on for their meals. They work in two teams, a primary party and a reserve party. Each team consists of sharp, clever stalker with a strong nose who sniffs out trails, three swift and nimble chasers who rush and hold the prey, and a powerful finisher who dispatches it. The most skillful chaser on each team is chosen by the leader to be that team's head.
➤• Scouts: Two wolves who survey the lands and update the leader on any new discoveries, sometimes returning with food or toys.
➤• Pupsitters: An important role trusted to watch over the pack's pups, keeping them out of trouble and protecting them from danger. Sometimes they may care for foster pups who are raised in the pack but leave upon reaching adulthood.
➤• Mentors: Highly respected older wolves in charge of teaching the younger generation important skills that'll help them survive and contribute to the pack.

Rules
—x——x——x—
➤• All lore and wolves must be realistic to semi-realistic. I'm more lenient with unrealistic markings than I am with colors.
➤• Wolves can only join the pack by being born into it, adopted, or befriended as lone wolves.
➤• The pack must consist mostly of friendly/romantic females with monochrome or cool bases.
➤• A maximum of 25 permanent members can live in the pack at once, less than half being males.
➤• Only females may become leader.
➤• All non-cosmetic items (food, amusement, etc) must be gathered by a pack member. Purchasing them is not allowed.
➤• Breeding with outside studs is prohibited.

➤• Wolves are only allowed to breed with other wolves of the same generation, unless one of the wolves is first generation.
➤• Pups are given names and begin training for roles once weaned. Litters usually have themed names.
